RENO — The head prosecutor has cleared Reno police of any bad behavior in the lethal shooting of a suspect at a downtown gambling club after he avoided safeguard in Utah and conferred an auto jacking in California.

Washoe County DA Chris Hicks said the officer was defended when he shot and executed 24-year-old Steven Valenzuela of Las Vegas in the Eldorado Resort Casino mezzanine in February 2017.

Hicks said Valenzuela put a firearm to his head when at first gone up against by police, took off then later progressed toward them with a weapon in his grasp.

Examiners say he avoided abandon theft and ambush charges in Utah in February 2017, made a trip to Las Vegas and later headed to Reno in a vehicle he auto jacked in California.

We can now see that gun usage has brought a new threat to the public. With people running rampant, Nevada State government should withhold the usage of firearms for the public in the state if they were to keep the peace.
