Evidence of Personal Injury and Who to Turn To

A person who suffered injuries as a result of an accident is in shock.  The first few days are the most crucial if the injured person decides to go to a personal injury attorney.  The person should remain focused and do the following to gain evidence for legal action.  The best time to do this is on the same day as the accident.

The person should return to the scene of the accident.  Photograph anything that may have contributed to the accident.  Find physical evidence as a result of the accident.  Get photos from different angles.  Preserve physical evidence in the same condition it was in at the time of the accident.  Take photographs of physical evidence if it can’t be preserved.  Get witnesses’ testimony.  Their point of view can range from seeing the accident to who caused the accident to seeing you in pain after the accident.  Go to a medical hospital and get medical proof of injuries.
